Meet Alexis

Alexis Lerner spent five years as a prosecutor at the New York County District Attorney’s Office honing her analytical and communication skills before she pivoted into the world of architecture and design. In 2004, she joined CWB Architects where she created and managed a client communication department. During the next four years at CWB Architects she also created proprietary contracts and advised the firm on legal matters.

It was at CWB Architects that Alexis discovered her passion for legal work within the construction and design industry, always with an eye (and ear) focused on effective and efficient dialogue. Alexis has spent the past twelve years as counsel to architects, interior designers, branding agencies, and other creatives, drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising clients on intellectual property matters, liability issues, and employment agreements. She founded Lerner Law in 2013.
